Joanna Jędrzejczyk: I love travelling!
Do you travel often? Is it usually for business or pleasure? Do you like travelling at all?
I travel very often by car, combining business travel with pleasure. In my case it is not so difficult, because my work is a pleasure for me, and I love to work, I love to develop myself, to see new places and meet new people. Especially since it is people who create the places I visit. That is why, when I have a business trip coming up, I try to leave a day early to get to know the city or town and do something for myself.
I love Poland! If we say that I travel a lot around the world, then I travel even more in Poland and mostly by car. The most important thing for me in these journeys is safety - and I mean that the vehicle I am travelling in must be safe. Of course, it also has to be comfortable, because I spend long hours behind the wheel.
What was the greatest journey of your life?
I try to "learn" something from every journey, because travelling is very educational. But I have yet to experience a unique and unforgettable trip.
However, every family trip has always been great for me and it doesn't matter if we go somewhere far or very close. I have been dreaming for a long time about packing the whole bunch into one car and going on a trip around Poland and Europe.
What are your favourite places in Poland, Europe and the world?
Our whole mother earth is beautiful and Poland is simply amazing. We have the sea, we have mountains, we have Warmia and Masuria, where I live. But our country is still undiscovered for me, so I plan to drive around and explore it length and breadth over the next few years.
When it comes to specifics, I really like mountains. Admittedly, I haven't had many opportunities during my career to visit them, but since last year I've been in the south more often. I've started skiing again, and I've also tried ski touring. The mountains have captivated me again because they are very beautiful.
I also like Europe very much. I once lived in Amsterdam for two years and I would like to go back there.
I like to feel the locality of each place I visit. I go out on the street to meet the people, eat the same things the locals eat, talk to them and experience their culture that way.
Do you prefer travelling alone or in company?
In general, I like to have company in my life because I don't like to be alone. So if I travel, I travel with someone. However, when I do have to travel alone, I listen to audiobooks, talk to my friends, look at the scenery and see what is going on around me.
You often use car rental at the airport - what is important to you in this service?
I use airport rentals quite often when I travel around the world. It's a convenient solution because you can basically start your journey from wherever you arrive by other means of transport.
What do you like Carwiz for?
Two things are most important to me in airport rental: the people who make up the company and the availability of cars.
So, I like Carwiz first and foremost for the people who work here - they are full of passion for travel and they make these travels possible for us, the customers.
